Delicious Mojitos to sip in Edmonton

Ah, the mojito - a great summer cocktail. Born in Havana, Cuba, this drink is typically prepared with white rum, sugar, lime, sparkling water and mint sprigs. However, there are quite a few varieties of this popular drink – fruit liqueurs, champagne, blueberries, gin and other changes are sometimes incorporated.

Lux Steakhouse & Bar Ltd

196-10150 101 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 4G8

The list of LUX Club Cocktails offers patrons a dark rum mojito. It’s made with Gosling’s Family reserve rum, mint, lime and brown sugar vanilla syrup, and the usual toppings of lime juice and soda.

The Melting Pot

117-2920 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB T6J 2G8

The Melting Pot also has a dragon berry mojito, but with a few differences. They also use Bacardi dragon berry rum, but the difference comes with the fruit. The combination of ripe strawberries and dragon fruit truly brings an exotic flair to this drink.
