We had excellent care for a major surgery. The doctor was very thorough and explained the details. As others noted, it can be expensive. However, this is an emergency facility, and does not have the subsidies that human health care does. If you need regular pet care, go to a standard vet, but anything beyond that costs money. Thats the reality of pet health care, and ownership. And why it is generally recommended to purchase pet insurance or save for these emergency situations.

They take advantage of people trying to save their pets.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this clinic, but they are the only after hours option so you may have no choice. It is going to be expensive if you don't have pet insurance - be prepared. We waited a long time last night and Dr. Browne's bedside manner was not good - both in lack of empathy and explanation of options. The worst experience in my life in any country with a veterinary hospital... The forced me to agree to procedures that they knew would kill the dog but would bring the money, as a condition to provide him with emergency care. They asked full pre-payment in cash and then couldnt even put the difference back on the credit card. They abuse the dog and threatened me with harassment claims if I reported them. They simply are horrible, greedy people whose only goal is to make money.

Normally ok but today very very long wait. 2 he's and still waiting. No friendly staff to explain why.

Long wait times because of administrative and billing incompetence; staff, including doctors, push extra treament/often unnecessary tests; beyond comprehension billing/pricing; rude staff; messy exterior and interior; parking and entry to site was difficult for a first-time visit; would not use this service again and highly recommend against it

I was extremely frustrated with the so called doctors at this clinic. First Jen Van Der Lee misdiagnosed our cat. All he had was a hip dislocation and she said it was broken. Next they told us we could sedate him and they would put it back in. We agreed and then the bext morning they called to say they didn't do it!! I was so upset! I work in rehab when a person dislocates their shoulder or hip they sedate and pop it back in. They just wanted us to spend more money on surgery! Terrible doctors!
